Coping Plan
Created specific coping plan for family, including coping tools for before, during and after the finger poke and was emailed to the parents.
Check-In
Follow-up communication through email with mom check child’s coping and continued reaction to the finger pokes with the new coping plan, and made suggestions for changes to coping plan.

Supported parents in understanding further stressors which go along with a new diagnosis, and coached parents in how to help child and siblings in:
