Kidney Filtration Activity
When learning about something new, such as the topic of a kidney transplant, it is helpful to use concrete or hands-on materials for children to understand and recall information.
Check out the resources below for more ways to support your child when learning about the job of our kidneys.
Kidney Filtration Activity
This activity engages children in learning about blood, the fluid and waste the blood collects that the body no longer needs, and how our kidneys help to “clean” the blood and remove the extra fluid and waste. The goal of this activity is to provide an opportunity for children to learn about our kidneys through play and hands-on manipulation.
